EYEBROW PERMANENT COSMETICS AFTERCARE
Wash your Face the first night with a mild soap such as a dove or an antibacterial soap such as dial etc. Do not get your eyebrows wet or start using ointments on them again for the next 24 hours. It's called DRY HEALING
Avoid direct sunlight during the entire course of 4 week healing. It will fade the ink or cause other disruptions.
Avoid saunas, spas, and pools as well. Avoid Letting the shampoo & conditioner run down your face in the shower
Apply a thin layer of Grapeseed oil mainly/ A & D ointment occasionally WITH VERY CLEAN HANDS or q-tips all day every day. Best to keep them moisturized. (Day & night) .
When washing your face DRY your eyebrows with a paper towel or Kleenex gently setting it on top of them and do not rub them.
NUMBER 1 AND MOST IMPORTANT RULE: During the scabbing process, DO NOT PICK YOUR SCABS DURING THE HEALING PROCESS. ALLOW THEM TO FALL OFF ON THEIR OWN.
Before bathing, apply a small coat of A&D ointment to the eyebrow to repel water if you don’t wash your face In the shower.
If itching occurs, you can apply HYDROCORTISONE CREAM to the eyebrow.
Try to sleep on a satin pillowcase if possible
Do not use products that contain AHA’s in the procedure area. Such as Glycolic, Lactic acids, Retinol-A, etc. ABSOLUTELY NO ANTI-AGING PRODUCTS!!!!!!!! USE A REGULAR MOISTURIZER OR SKINCARE REGIMEN.
IF YOU ARE ON BLOOD THINNERS OR ASPIRIN REGIMEN, PLEASE return to use after the initial appointment but stop using again 1 week before your touchup.
If you experience swelling, blistering or any other complications during your healing process, notify your technician immediately. You could be having an allergic reaction. VERY RARELY HAPPENS BUT STILL A POSSIBILITY.
ALL PERMANENT MAKEUP PROCEDURES WILL REQUIRE A 4-6 WEEK TOUCH UP AND IS A TWO-STEP PROCESS.
